We are interested in the opportunistic pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa, lung infections and cystic fibrosis lung disease. Our research is multi-disciplinary and collaborative, bridging microbiology, genomic, molecular and cellular biology approaches in mechanistic and translational studies of bacterial infections. We employ a broad range of in vitro systems, in vivo infection models and translational studies with human samples. Our projects are focused on two main themes: 1) Pseudomonas aeruginosa microbiology and 2) Host and pathogens in lung infections
